Yanmar 1500D
I have a yanny 1500D that I have had for about three years. It now has about 950 hours on it and I fully expect it to last 950 hours longer. I have found out that this tractors water system is a therom-sipen system. Is there a good method of putting a water pump on a 1500D? Oh and the reason for the name of Ding Ding is because when I start my Yanny that is what it sounds like!! I Love my tractor

I think there is a kit available. However if the current system is well maintain it will do the job.

Ding ding, I think these things are designed to run at full rated power indefinitely without overheating - that's what the hp rating means. I think the money would be better spent on maintenance to refresh it to original cooling specs, ie rodding out the radiator or replacing it if needed.

I appreciate the simplicity of these things. Why add another component when the original designers didn't expect it would be needed.

I like that! Clang-clang-clang might match mine better.

I kinda go along with what Normmm implied and California flat out said. If you've had the tractor for 3 years and haven't had cooling system issues...

There's much to be said for the "If it ain't broke...Don't fix it!" school of thought.

Most overheating problems we see on 1500s are related to either too much antifreeze in the solution or too little circulation in the radiator. Our experience is that many of those coming in have enough restriction to warrant a new radiator.

A distant third on the list would probably be debris blocking the air flow through the radiator.
