Great Forum!!! Lots of good advice & discussion. I'm happy to be here! I've got a MF 135 tractor, woods & maschcio cutters, plus some other old stuff.
Has anyone ever had experience with a LeRoi diesel rotary vane air compressor?
I recently purchased a late 70's unit, 160 cfm, and it seems to run pretty well, blows lots of air. How durable are these old units? Mine has about 2000 hrs on it. It was a one owner, state owned machine used to run jackhammers.
I'm interested in Rotary Vane advice. Lots of rotary screw machines out there but not much info on Vane machines. What did you use for compressor oil? With normal use & regular maintenence, how many hours can you expect out these units?
