I got forks like that on ebay, very strong. Lifted my backhoe off of my truck with no problem.

I just bought the same ones, mine came with the stabilizer.. I mostly use them for lifting logs so that I can chainsaw them into firewood..

I nearly went this route but I questioned the stability of the forks when attached to the bucket like so and the fact that u lose some lifting power. But I use mine with pallets and cutting firewood. Do you guys find that they don't move around on you. Im just wondering even though i went a different route.

They seem stable. I bought these to move small stuff around. I would not want to lift more than 500lbs in this setup. I don't want to bend my bucket. I have seen pictures where people have bent there buckets trying to use these like a forklift attachment.

good point as i had forgotten about that as well.

Mine don't move when I use a pipe to tighten them and use the stabilizer. I wouldn't try to lift anymore than 500lb's either, I'm not afraid of anything bending but I am afraid of snapping my front axle..

I used mine to lift an old wood burning stove that must have weighted 700 lbs. It worked fine and the tractor had no problem lifting the load. I have added some bucket reinforcement so I'm not worried about bending anything.

I use the forks for so many things, sometimes they get more work than anything else.

I used mine to lift an old wood burning stove that must have weighted 700 lbs. It worked fine and the tractor had no problem lifting the load. I have added some bucket reinforcement so I'm not worried about bending anything.

I use the forks for so many things, sometimes they get more work than anything else.
I think mine will too. I have needed them many times before buying them. They are easy to take on and off.

That axle is very strong, but I stay on the safe side too.
