Came home from work today to find a surprise in front of the workshop - some forks and a Kubota QA that I had ordered a while ago. Dealer must have been in the area a dropped them off.

Now I can move some logs around.....

I have a great dealer. I asked him to order the QA and forks and he gave me a price. No deposit or anything like that. I'll call him tomorrow and give him a credit card # or drop off a check next time I am passing.

Who made the fork frame that you got?

Are you using the Kubota FEL QA - or a SSQA style quick attach?

Shortly after I got my B3200 I was looking for something in the basement - and realized that I had a nice pair of 36" forged forks sitting down there I had bought a few years back for a project I was thinking of doing on my BX23. I never used the forks - so I took them up to the Kubota dealer - tried them out on the Kubota pallet fork frame - and they fit right on. 1/2 hour later I'm driving home with that frame in my trailer.

The forks are the most useful thing. The next week I brought home a bunch of granite curb stone to use for some wall building - my father and I used the forks to pull all the granite out of the trailers - made it easy as pie. Much better than using the bucket for moving stuff like that.

The lifting capability of the LA504 with the pallet forks - is right around 1000 pounds - and it will lift that weight about a foot or two off the ground - more than enough to carry some serious material.

Pallet forks and a QA were something I bought for my B3200 as well. It was the second best investment I ever made...the tractor was the first.

The forks are in the HLA attachments series from Horst welding here in Ontario Canada. The carriage is locally made and it fits the Kubota QA system directly. The carriage is the 2000 lb capacity and I have the 36" tines. I went with this brand on dealer recommendation (the Kubota forks are only 600lbs capacity) and he recommended the HLA 2000 lb over the 1200 given I will be working in the bush with them and likely doing more than just lifting stuff...... Only 15 lbs more for the stronger unit.

Used them for a few hours this weekend and am very happy so far. Sure am glad I have loaded tires and a box blade on the back for the log loads I have been moving so far.
