Have u considered a grapple attachment for your bucket. Not quite the same but cheaper and can be left on all the time. Worth at least considering.

You could have the quick attach plate welded onto your bucket. If your machine is the same as mine, the bucket is quit wide but of light duty material. Check out the buckets at the dealer before buying one unseen. They come all different widths, depths and light to heavy duty.

If you get doing aggressive front end work with the light duty buckets, it's gunna get bent, ask me how I know

It all depends on what people see it as. I have taken a couple of my "take off" buckets and made them into grading buckets for excavators. I weld the brackets to them and now you have a 48" or 60" or what ever size bucket they want for grading or cleaning ditches!
I'm sure you could get at mininum of $300 for it.
I had some guys call me up last summer for a bucket. After they came down and seen what I had they ended up buying 4 of them. The were making them work on other machines.

A pretty good price for the Bobcat original pieces. If you check around, you'll have at least that much or probably a little more in aftermarket. Truck ship shouldn't be to bad. As mentioned, advertise your bucket and it will go. I changed mine over last year and wouldn't ever want to go back to pins.
