New to the site, so forgive me if this has been covered. I have been told that Woods, Land Pride and Alamo are making rotary cutters, finish mowers and flails for CNH, Deere, Kubota and Massey Ferguson dealers to sell on their tractors. That seems odd for such large tractor companies to contract their implements out to leading attachment competitors? Anybody know for sure which of these tractor brands make their own implements and which ones farm them out and to Woods, Land Pride and Alamo? Thanks for the help.

All of the major tractor companies have outsourced many of the implements with their brand on 'em for many, many years. Nothing new.

My Kubota is very happy pulling Land Pride, Woods, and Leinbach implements. With a layer of mud on everything, the colors match just fine.

Yes, none of the majors make their own (compact & utility) implements. Not sure who uses Alamo but Woods, Befco, Worksaver and several others make attachments for Deere's Frontier line. Deere makes nothing themsleves for Frontier.
As far as Land Pride, they don't private label anything under another name but do have some type of agreement w/ Kubota to be a supplier of implements for Kubota dealers under the L.P. name but painted orange.

Thanks for the quick responses. Since there doesen't seem to be any difference between the tractor company's 3 point attachments and Woods, except paint color and decals it sure doesn't seem worth it to pay extra for the tractor branded implement.
