Loader New CK3510SE HC question

I just bought a new CK3510SEHC and on the loader level indicator when the bucket is level there is about 3 of rod above the indicator tube. Do I cut the excess off or is this the way it is supposed to be? I thought the rod was supposed to be flush with tube when level.

That's what I did.
Just make sure the rod can't come out of the tube at full extension once cut.

My older CK30hst had a pin on bucket. A few years later, Kioti made the loader with a QA. I purchased the QA, which fit perfectly, and bought a bigger QA bucket. Leveling the bucket now had the rod sticking up @3 inches. After measuring, I sanded that extra rod area lightly and painted it white. So far it has worked for me.

the rod should be even when the bucket is ON THE GROUND, level. If not, it's probably adjustable. As you raise the loader arms the bucket will not remain level on it's own, and the indicator won'd show level.

Slide on a piece of rubber/plastic hose.

I got the idea from Billrog. Bucket is level when the rod is even with the end of the pex. I cut out a section of the pex so I can now see how far below level the bucket is.

I left 1/2" of rod outside the tube and cut it off there. It works for me.

Yes I should clarify that it is when the bucket is on the ground. I checked it on my cement shop floor.

I personally just wrapped electrical tape for a level marker. The stock set up is pretty silly to me. But any mod that makes sense to you will work obviously!
