Snow new ck30 HST first problem

When snow blowing with front mounted blower sometimes have trouble steering when blower catches snow bank on the edge of the road . With my old geared tractor I would touch the left or right brake to correct direction, however with the HST this disconnects the cruise control ,,I haven't had a chance to see if I can modify yet

any suggestions would be welcome

I wouldn't call that a problem....it's doing what it's supposed to do. Modifying it could cause problems for the transmission, and almost certainly void the warranty. I certainly wouldn't want to be dragging a brake while the transmission is under load....slipping clutches, overheating fluids, etc.

Did your geared tractor have electronic cruise control?

No, you are right it isn't a problem , but it is inconvenient . the geared tractor just worked better in this situation. The cruise control on the CK30 is a mechanical cruise

Don't use the cruise control when plowing.
