I just traded my ATV Bush Hog for a five blade Chisel Plow with springs. I plan to use the chisel to break up some pasture land for wildlife planting. Last year I successfully used the diggers on a box blade, but had problems with the grass clogging. Should not have so much of that problem with the chisel.
What helpful hints do I need to know before putting this plow to work? The land is fairly sandy but is covered with bermuda grass and fescue.
BTW, the dealer from whom I got the plow is a small operation very close to my house in rural central Alabama. He mainly has new three point equiment, trailers, and every now and then has a used tractor on his lot. When I told him I had a Kioti CK30, he said "Those are good tractors. As a matter of fact, they have been talking with him about becoming a dealer" I suggested he go for it, but found that interesting given the dealers Kioti had pulled the plug on recently. Perhaps location is the key.
