Congratulations!! :)

I know you will have a blast using the BX24. :D I owned a BX22 for 4 years and just recently sold it. I would have kept it if I could have afforded both it and the new Kubota L5030. In fact, I did keep it for a few months, then sold it. Now that mowing season is here, I really miss it. I bought a pretty nice lawn tractor with a 4 ft deck, but it is hard to go from the smooth ride, the 5 ft deck, the diesel engine, and just the overall toughness of the BX down to a lawn tractor :(

Enjoy your tractor!!

Terry

Thanks guys. I plan to wear just enough pait off of her to get this hump out of my back, from the digging I've been doing the last few weeks. Sweat equity for my shop. Lesson #1, dirt is just as hard to put back into a hole as it was to dig out. A electrician friend brought his Kubota L3400 over two weeks ago to cover 250' of undeground power line. He did more work in 15 minutes than I spent all day with a shovel. I'm not afraid of and know how to use a shovel, but mom diden't rase no fool ether.

I plan to do some grade work after the paving contractor has finished the pads and drives for the shop. Just under 5,000 sf. I have a 200 x 600 foot wooded lot, aproximately 3 acres. The house sets about 400' back. The gravel road could use a new topping. The back-hoe is also a big plus. The dozer cleared the area for my pad but I should have taken a few more of the trees out. From what I have read I don't think the BX will have any problem with the 5-6" and smaller I have to remove. My property grade falls about 2'' for 10' so so terracing and more retaining walls are in the future. Landscape, flagstone deck and on and on. I had planed to contract it out but after dealing with a few bad eggs I figure I can do it myself, do a lot better job and have a good time doing it. Beside a old putter like myself needs the exercize. If I can figure out how to post pix I will give it a try.

Singlecoil, love that Rankin 601 PHD and your paint work. I see one of those in my near future. I have spent hours looking at your and others mods and must say that you and several others on this board know how to make a cool little tractor even cooler. Can't wate to try some of these tricks on mine.

Gamemaster your bucket hooks and slots will be one of my first mods. With the addition of a mount for some pallet forks. My hats off to you, thanks to you and everone for sharing your ideas.

Sounds like you sized the machine just right for your needs!

Just go to photobucket.com and upload your pictures there. Once they are uploaded they will automatically generate an image tag under the picture, copy and paste the picture in your text here. That's it, easy.

Congrats, we like to see property pictures too! :D
