The deck is about 58" without the deflector. One of the wheels protrudes just a little beyond the metal, so looks like about 59"overall.
Enjoy!
I bought the 54" because of one area where I needed to fit it between a retaining wall and a tree. It just barely fit. Wouldn't you know, the tree died! I cut it down Saturday.:(

Anyone else care to chime in ? Only 1 week till I get it!!!!!!

Yes, it will just fit. My shed door is 60" and my 54" deck just fits through it with the grass deflector flipped up. By the way, congratulations. You'll be going back for that loader by next year I predict. Enjoy.

Was worried it would'nt then I would have broken out the CHAIN SAW, not gonna let it stay out in the rain and cold !!!!! Yeah you are probably right about the FEL I need to work on my better half awhile before I mention that. I can still see her now when I told her how much my new lawn mower was gonna cost:confused2: ARE YOU @%!*%#@! CRAZY!!!!!!Once I let her drive it she will see though:thumbsup:

I would get the FEL now so I could include it in the 0% financing (60 months vs. 24 on implements).

I would too..That will be a hefty add on later, and don't wait too long..Sometimes the designs change enough to cause issues...

SHMBO will see the advantage of having that almost out of the gate if you have home projects.

Once you have an FEL, you'll wonder what you ever did without it..Trust us on that one. Your back will thank you too.

Agree completely on the FEL, we have FELs on other tractors, but still find many uses for one on our BX.

I have a 2660 and the one implement that gets used the most...and probably keeps me healthiest is the FEL. Pushing logs, carrying firewood, bags of concrete mix, long heavy boards (across the top), digging, holding all the tools to move to a remote site, moving heavy loads generally. I say keeps me healthy because my back is ok as long as I don't do anything stupid. The FEL hasn't made me smarter or younger, but it allows me to a lot of things that without it, I absolutely could not do. BUY THE FEL:thumbsup:

Haha. She'll soon realize that you can get much more done than mowing and you'll get the mowing done faster. My wife has been very supportive of my tractor purchase knowing how much our 6 acres will need and how much my back will appreciate the purchase. I've got a good one (wife AND tractor)!

Well who really knows, I have mowed our yard with an 80 HP Case and 8' finish mower; didn't take long and the AC sure was nice.:)

I know this sounds stupid but started it up a while ago and could not get deck to lower down am I missing something will read book again, also knob to adjust mower 1" to 4" will not turn I'm sure nothing wrong just ain't holding my mouth right. The guy that delivered it did not tell me anything about it but how much I would like it over a zero turn any help????

BX2360,

I had the opposite problem, couldn't keep the mower at the top position, but I think the solution may be the same. Try to adjust the mower linkage up. You probably have too much weight on the mechanism. The linkage is on the left side behind/beneath the fender. It has a hex head (11/16") and a hex locknut. Loosen the locknut and adjust the linkage up to loosen the mower so you can turn the height adjustment and lower the mower. This is in your mower manual on page 14.

Here's the thread where I got the info, much thanks to oldnslo.

Be sure the lift is al the way up. Watch the arms in the back until they do not rise anymore. Then try the adjustment knob again.

This may be the blind leading the blind, as I only have 70 hrs or so on my BX2360' but I "fixed" this problem by rocking it up and down with leaver a few times and it has alway popped into position. Now that I read these, I will go and make the adjustment so that I do not have the problem. Thanks all.

Made sure lift was all the way up wala could move knob .Seems to be working fine now but will have to fine tune once yard dries out enough to try out .YOU Guys are AWESOME Thanks!!!!!!!

/ new Bx 2360 owner #36
The lift MUST be all the way up (both mower and 3 pt) before you can make height adjustments--and then, you must turn the knob to the right only. Once you get used to it, it's duck soup.

My wife never cared a hoot for any of my tractors, but once she tried out the BX she really liked it. She even operates the FEL occasionally and likes that too.

And speaking of FEL's, I echo what the others have said about it. If I hadn't wanted the FEL, I never would have spent the money for a Kubota, but the loader is the neatest thing I've ever had. I have it on good authority that Sandy Klaws is bringing me a set of BXpanded forks for Christmas, too. :)

My 1860 w/54" MMM just squeaks onto my 5' wide trailer with the plastic chute up. I think you'll be fine.

George the Beagle,

You have confirmed what I was thinking. I have a BX2360 with 60" MMM and haven't bought a trailer yet. Looks like I'm looking at a 6' wide trailer. My wife was unsure, said I could transport it with the mower detached. I told her that was impractical.

Did I say that your beagle is absolutely handsome. Gonna get another one some day.
