Bobcat MT120
I'm about to pick up a new MT120 wide track. I'm getting the 50" GPX bucket, 48" grapple, 14PH Auger, and Mini Pallet Fork Frame with 36" forks.

The dealer has told me that I have to get the Mini Pallet Fork Frame and the standard is not available to purchase with it due to the manufacturer concern for safety (balance/tipping, weight, etc). I was hoping for 42" or even 48" forks for extended reach and the Bobcat website says that the standard frame with 48" fork teeth is compatible with the MT120. If I were to ignore their advice and purchase the standard frame separately (which I presume is an option), it wouldn't be included in the package loan that they're offering ($0 down and 0% for 36 months).

I've never owned a mini-track / walk behind and am used to working with a 40 hp Kioti, which I no longer have (new property, different needs). My new situation is a sloped 2 acre property with NO woods. I'm not too worried about tight work areas. I'll mainly be working a new orchard and landscaping. I'm trying to project future use and perhaps I won't really need the longer reach of a 48", but, the longer forks were just so convenient on my former 27 wooded acres. I know 36" will force me to keep loads closer to the machine and therefore be less tip prone, which is what Bobcat wants.

Should I give it up and just go with the 36" forks? I hate regrets down the road and would love your perspective. I still have time to change the order.

Second, unrelated question: The dealer says, "The 14PH auger requires Bobcat's Supreme Heavy-Duty Grease, as it is formulated for severe operating conditions and heavy shock loads common in auger applications." They've also made comments around needing to use Bobcat fluids for warranty reasons. I know there are laws preventing Bobcat requiring this, but that aside, I'm used to using Mystik JT-6 Hi-Temp grease for everything. Is there any reason why this wouldn't be the right grease for every zerk on the machine or its attachments? I'm in Hawaii, so no temps below 40 degrees.
