Also Have L2800 but 09 and has original battery and it still starts.
Winter time I plug in the heater to help battery on cold start ups.
Previous Kubota battery lasted 14 years try so call brand name it just hold up so I bought Kubota battery work like charm and better fix in the battery box....check Kubota battery prices etc.

Does anyone out there think or know if the batteries sold by the Kubota dealer are worth buying. I知 talking about original equipment Kubota batteries. I realize that Kubota May have cut corners in the last 14 years but maybe not.

They are probably good. But how much do they cost? I liked the Idea of putting a John Deere Battery in my Deere. Bought the tractor new. To me that matters a little bit. Keeping my John Deere, all John Deere, that kind of thing.

John Deere does not make batteries. They are just relabeled batteries from another manufacturer.
