I assume your German exchange student got a chance to try some. That would be a truly unforgettable cultural experience. It is controversial stuff. I got a taste of it when I was over there. I tend to agree with someone's opinion that it tastes like it originated in a septic tank.

I sure hope you knew I was teasing about the Vegemite. I personally did not like the taste, but is quite popular over there. I've heard everyone eats it on toast or bread.
