New 5155 synchro grind

Hi. Just recently bought a new 2022 Mahindra 5155 4x4. I’ve put 12 hours on it so far. About 1 out of every 4 reverse shifts on the synchro lever it kicks out of gear and horrible grinding sound. Hasn’t done it in forward at all only reverse. I messaged the dealer I bought it from and he says “I need to shift hard into reverse”. Well I’ve tried that and sometimes it goes no issues and sometimes it kicks out and grinds gears bad. Any suggestions before a warranty claim?

No kidding, I literally just posted about this in the 5155 thread. My new 5155 does the same thing.

I adjusted the clutch linkage to spec, which seemed to help. I'm going to check the shift linkage tomorrow to see if there are any adjustments to be made there. Is it possibly an assembly issue? If you don't mind my asking, where did you buy your 5155? I got mine from Knoxland Equipment in Warren, NH.

Got mine from ENC Mahindra in Leland, NC. Definitely could be an assembly issue.

I found and adjusted the shift linkage this morning, and after conducting some tests I have concluded that this cured the problem for me.
