New 3010 Drips!

Since the first day I brought my new 3010 home the front bucket cylinders have had a slow drip. The left one is constant, the right one is intermittent. Thinking maybe it is the seal wipers? Anyone have any suggestions? Something simple on new tractor I’m missing? Dealer said he would replace the seals. Tractor now has 6 hours on it. No factory paint on cylinders. All advice appreciated, my dealer is the pits and want to return to him as last resort.

That's a bummer, especially to have both of them leaking. Your only choice, though, is to replace the seals. It's not a complicated job, so the dealer shouldn't have any problem fixing, no matter how bad he is. If you don't like him because of other reasons, at least it's a warranty job. Otherwise, you can find another dealer if you live in a location where you might have some options. I sure wouldn't do a warranty job replacement myself, though, except as a last resort.

I agree with Mark. I'd sure want the seals replaced while it's under warranty. And of course it's always possible that the inside of one or more of the cylinders is damaged and could need replacing.

Request your dealer service the machine at your site. There is no reason to return the tractor to the dealer. If your dealer is truly the pits, make sure Kubota knows, maybe your dealer just needs a wake up call.

I don't understand "no factory paint on cylinders". Is it a Kubota loader or Woods, etc.. Either way have it fixed asap..
You should not have this problem. Rethinking, I think you meant there was no paint on the cylinder rams that could cause the seals to leak. Any way, get them resealed or replaced. Kubota's are normally sound right out of the box.
