Okay, Here it is.

I've have the 2305 for a few weeks now but finally got all of the accessories installed, bugs worked out, tires changed (got rid of turfs and went R4's) and of course slapped a coat of wax on it.

I do not have the MMM 54C on it now in case we get more snow to clean.

I found a guy just down the road to make me a 14' dual axle trailer for when I have to haul this thing.

I tried to get some pics to show the tool box, and extra lights I installed.

Here are the pics...

Please send a PM if anyone would like detail on any of the extras I did.

Thanks...

From what is shown, it's a beauty. Can you post a couple of pics of the toolbox? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tool Box...

It is an electrical weather enclosure that I picked up at the local Electrical supply shop. It's 8" x 6" x 4" with a lock and nice weather stripping to keep it water tight. As you can see in the picture, the wrench and pins that were in the tool box of my 445 got exposed to the weather. I hope that this one will keep water out.

Your ballast box looks a lot smaller than the one that came with my 2305. I didn't know there were different models of ballast boxes.
Also, your rear r4 tires look different than mine. Are they aftermarket ?
Nice tool box and mounting bracket!

The tires are OEM. My dealer just swapped my turfs for the industrials on Friday off of another 2305 he had. I had the option of tryng the turfs for a couple of weeks and decided on the R4's after getting stuck.

The ballast box is a home made one I used to use on my 445 and yes it is smaller than the John Deere box. I like it because it is bit smaller and doesnt seem to get in the way as much as the JD version. I currently have 4 suitcase weight off an old IH Tractor. I think the are 100 lbs. a piece plus the box get's me to approx 450 lbs. I have room to slide another suitcase wieght in the box so I am going to hunt around to find another suitcase wieght in there. If that's not enough I have a piece of flat stock welded on the box and a rod that allows me to hange the weights on the back and still fill the box with more wieght. I guess I am gong to do some trial and error and see how it goes.

2305JD--looks like you've got that machine set-up nicely--you must have a great dealer to do all the switch work etc. for you. Then you get it home, and add even more! Nice looking package all the way around!

I looked everywhere and could not find a tool box that would be small enough and sturdy to do the job. This thing was $60 CDN and is solid. Go get one your local electrical store.

The bracket was very easy to fabricate. I grabbed a piece of cardboard and made a template. Then just get a scrap piece of steel thick enough to support the box (approx 3/16" thick) and cut it out, drill holes, spray paint and you are done.

It took less than an hour to do and longer for the paint to dry.

Thanks...
