New 1500D owner

Hi all. As a new owner I sure am glad I stumbled on this board. I was excited and a little nervous, about getting this tractor. Parts availability being a big concern. But after a few days searching the internet I've found tons of good info.

So to start with can someone please tell me where to locate the hydraulic inlet screen. Thanks

There is a small plate held on with three screws above the right axle. That is it. See the attchment for a picture of the location.

Brent,
I found mine on the lower left side, opposite of the one you showed. However, mine is a YM 1500. The aluminum (?) cover plate was held on by 3 bolts.

I found that you're both right. However, taking the cover off the left side is the way to go. The right side has the big banjo fitting that needs to come off.
