I love them. THe share the new look of the 5400, 6400, 7400 series. I am gonna wait for one of those!!

Do you think that a 6' rotary cutter will be too much for the new 1540???

The 1540 will handle up to a 6' rotary mower without problems.

The MF 1500 series has special financing until 03/31/2005
.90% for 36 months with approval. Allmost 0% !

They have a nice big pic of the open platform and boy is it "open" and "big". You could have a picnic in your seat, sit back and stretch out. I like the look a lot too.........

Unlike the Challenger (Iseki) there is no glass down by your feet blocking things .

I was on the road last weekend and happened on a MF dealer who had a new 1500 series on the lot. It was getting dark and the store was closed, but I couldn't resist stopping anyways and taking a look. Gotta say I liked what I saw. This machine had a mech shuttle, 8x8 I think. They have moved the gear shifter back onto the fender, aka the older 1200 series. I liked that. While I couldn't tell for sure, it looked like it did not have a tilt up hood, I could be wrong as it was getting darker and darker, but it sure seemed to have removable side panels. The rest of the machine was pretty impressive though. I'd have liked to seen a different grill with higher mounted lights, but that sure wouldn't stop me buying one if I was in the market for a new tractor /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

I went to the dealer intro in Nashville last week and they seem to have made numerous improvements to the 1500 series including attachments, Cabs, and loaders. I think the highest hp was 53, but may heve been 48. I am nnot that knowledgeable of what they had before, but my impression from my chats with dealers is that they have a strong line-up.

They also introduced some specialty tractors in the 400 series, a diesel zt mower, some very narrow tractors(one 43" wide with a cab). Overall some very clean looking machines.
