Net zero email disappeared

I have had a net zero email account for many years and now it has just disappeared cannot find out anything about what happened. Has anyone had net zero and also lost it?

Wow. Haven't heard of them for a loooooooong time. I used to use them back in dial-up days. They were reliable, as I recall.

Still nothing. If I try to get net zero to come up it just sits and will not come. Have tried search engines to get net zero to some up when you get net zero and click on it it will not come up just sits there then it tells you to refresh hit refresh some thing comes up. Have tried it on my I phone, lap top and desk top same results. My net zero emails on both computers disappeared but my i phone has my net zero emails still there up to last Thursday and nothing after that. Am really confused what happened

Are you always on the same WiFi network when you've tried? I'm wondering if your ISP has blocked them. I can get to the website just fine.

I didn't know about it, but just ran a search, clicked a link and net zero sign-in page appeared.
BTW, I have strict privacy settings and cookie blockers.
Just for kicks, clear your browser of all cookies and cache/ prior pages and try again. If that doesn't work, clear your DNS cache too; instructions for that are found on the internet,and depends on your OS.

Just comes up taking too long to load says refresh same thing. I have Starlink for internet and have had it for over 2 years with no problems before last week

I'm happy to help, but you could probably get an answer out of searching it on Google faster. A few questions;

• What kind of computer do you have?
• How old is it?
• When did you last update the software?
• Are you running any anti-virus or ad blocking software?

There is something off somewhere. I have Starlink and have no trouble with getting on to net zero, so whatever the issue is, I think that it is fixable.

My desk top is probably over 10 yrs old, my lap top is 3 yrs old and my i phone is an i phone 12 so none of them are real new and I don't think there is any additional antivirus or ad blockers other than anything that might be on microsoft edge or fire fox or apple and I think everything is as far up to date as possible . I could see it being a problem on one but not on all 3 of my devices being they are all different operating systems, windows 10, windows 11 and apple on phone. Also my daughter who lives cannot get net zero to come up if she does a search for net zero on her i phone or her laptop so to me it sounds like Starlink could be blocking it

That helps. I didn't quite follow the comment about your daughter, sorry.

I have Starlink, and I can get to the netzero login with no issues, so I really think it isn't a systemwide Starlink issue. You could try turning everything off and then booting your Starlink, then your phone (check net zero right away), then turn all your other items on one by one, and waiting until each device comes on before turning on the next one. That applies to smart TVs, thermostats, security cameras, appliances, anything that is on your network.

What do you get with nslookup? E.g.

I was just stating my daughter lives with us and uses Starlink and on her phone and laptop she cannot get net zero to come up using her i phone or laptop so i don't think it is only my computers or i phone. She does not have net zero email and she just used search for net zero and it would not come up with anything

Thanks for clarifying your daughter's issue. It helps sort out what be needing attention.

Besides your Starlink antenna and router, what other computer, router, smart appliance equipment do you have? Are you using just the Starlink WiFi directly?

Nslookup.io does a network system lookup of the numeric address behind website names. E.g. for tractor net.com it comes up with this

The 45.33.14.183 is the way computers start to talk to each other.

Once you have that number for netzero.net, I am curious what happens if you type that number into the address bar on your computer or phone.

How did the reboot process work?

Can you go into your Starlink app, and take a screenshot of the network and post that image please?

Might it be better to PM a phone number and then walk home through the process. That way, he could write it down to follow and have for future reference. I know that's what I've done with a few others on here and other forums.
