Hi Pleased to meet you all.
My name is Barry Ryan,from Australia.I live on 50 acres in a sort of retired way,at 84 they told me it was about time. However the grass seems to just keep growing and this keeps my slasher and I going full time.
I have a Leyland 245 tractor and wish to put a forklift on the front of it.
I need to know how to set the hydraulics up to work this fork.If I had a diagram it would help,but I am finding it hard to find one.Even a diagram of a standard hydraulic set up would help me to know where to put valves etc.

Good to have you aboard. There is a specific forum here on TBN in regards to Hydraulics. Perhaps if you post your inquiry in that forum, you will get more replies? I am sure that you will find the Hydraulics Forum quite informative.

Welcome to TBN, what creekbend said, hydraulics and electrical stuff remains a mystery to me.

One of the men who rents one of our farms just turned 85 is "sort of retired" too, but he seems to be on a 8000 or 7000 Series John Deere doing something pretty often.
