Thanks everyone for your input.
I have decided to upgrade the tractor...not improve my 790.
I had a quote from local Kubota and John Deere dealer as these are the only dealers in town.
John Deere: 3320, with Hydro transmission, R4 tires, 300CX loader with 1550MM Hvy dty bucket. Delivered price less sales tax is $20,175.00. The Power reverser will be about 800 less. (I am leaning towards the power reverser, but would let my wife decied).
Kubota: L3130DT-F (4 speed clutch), industrial tires with LA773 loader with 6ft bucket. ($18,311)
Kubota: L3130HST-F (hydrostatic trans), industrial tires with La773 loader with 6 ft bucket. ($20,611)
Kubota: L3130GST (12 speed glide shift trans), industrial tires with LA773 Loader with 6 foot bucket ($20,127)
Kubota dealer suggested that I sell my 790 on my own.
JD said that my tractor with 150 hrs would be $10,000 for trade in value (subject to his inspection).
This tractor will not be used for mowing, it is to plow my driveway (600 feet winding uphill thru woods), gardening, and field work consisting of 3 pt
chipper, and hauling timber. As well my wife used it as a 4WD wheelbarrow. And of course as a fork lift.
What do you guys think of the "deals" my local dealers offered?
