Need striping kit info

Hi guys

I was looking around the net for info on a John Deere 54C deck and see they offer a roller striping kit for this deck. I know what a striped yard looks like but can't seem to get the concept of how this works.

I don't know if its available for your deck or not, but a striping kit is just a roller that lays the grass down in one direction.

Some are like a bristle broom, same concept as roller.. Sun hits it in different directions and looks striped..
