Was hauling some crushed limestone in my 97 F250HD today and had a blow out on the freeway. The side wall let loose and boy let me tell you how much fun it was to change the tire along the freeway with 4200LBS of dirt in the back!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I need the wise TBNrs for some advice. I have 235 85 r16 and want to get a tire that is rated for heavy loads. I would also like the tread to be a good cross for dirt, snow, and just highway crusing. Any suggestions would help me so much.
I figure since the remaining tires are at about 30% and winter is coming, now would be the time to invest in some new tires.
