About a year ago I bought my first tractor. I got a new 2520 with a loader and backhoe. It has been very useful. I mainly use it to plow the driveway and my wife uses it to clean up after the horses. I also fix our dirt driveway and other misc. stuff around the house. I debated when I purchased it whether or not to get the backhoe. First off I was disapointed with how small the backhoe was, it just doesn't reach far enough to really be helpful. It works well to dig ditches and what not though. I have decided I don't use it enough to justify having it. So I am thinking about trading in the whole package and getting a bigger tractor without a backhoe. Just curious if anyone know roughly how much they would give me for a trade in. I owe just around $20K. It is in very good shape and only has 40 hrs on it. Mainly I am need some help deciding what to get. I don't want to spend much more than $20k out the door. I want just a loader for attatchments. I really like the size of the 4105 tractor and I think it suits my needs and than some. For some reason the actually size of it attracts me more than a 3000 series. I would like to stay green, but after looking at some kubotas online the bigger L-series seem like a better deal. I haven't called the dealer yet to see what they would give me or looked at any tractors. Just trying to do some homework before I go and talk to them. I just feel like if I'm not using the backhoe, I might as well get a bigger tractor without a backhoe and have the same or a lower payment.
