need oring/# for a 431145A1 hyd filter on a case C80 ( canister style filter )

As the title states, I have a case C80 tractor. the hyd filter under the running board is a canister style, 431145A1

I have a NH dealer near me that gets me the filter.. but he is hard to deal with.. 30m hold times when you call, and 20-30m wait times in the parts room if you go by.. it's like a 2 man operation? Anyway. ev ery canister filter I have ever ordered has always come with a new oring that goes between the boss and removable canister shell. This one didn't.

I can look up the filter in the NH parts database, but can't find the oring.

Anyone got an oring part number? If it's an active NH part number I guess I can get it from that dealer.. or I can order from a case dealer in another town.

Try running your search through Messicks Home | Messick's

I ran the search, and found an exploded view showing the gasket separate, part number being 405462R1, but run the search yourself, and make sure that is it. Looks to run $6.83 for the gasket. If you trust NAPA to cross fit it, looks like they run $1.80 there.

We both had the same good idea, and yup, meeesicks has it. I've got one headed to me. I simply don't trust napa to cross it.. They thought they could cross the filter but the wrong one came in.
