B3030 Kubota
one of my tractors is a Kubota B-1515 which has about 16 or 17 horse power. I'm pulling a 48 in land pride rotary mow with it. It just not enough HP.

Im pulling a 60 in land pride with a kubota B3030 which is like great . But I don't want to spend that kind of money again.

Any suggestions

Pull the Land Pride 48" behind the B3030.

Shapen the blades on the Land Pride 48" with an angle grinder.

Are you mowing with the front of the mower 1" - 1-1/2" LOWER than the rear, so only the front of the blades are cutting? If you are mowing LEVEL a lot of power is wasted in chopping/mulching cut grass within the deck before it is expelled out the rear.

Lower the tail wheel adjustment, then refine front adjustment as above, so you are cutting grass higher. Mow more frequently. Long grass bogs down the R/C.

Only sharpen the blades if weeds and grass is all you are cutting.

Sharp blades and tree sapplings leave sharp spears that will puncture a tire. If any saplings, leave the blades blunt.

Ditto on making sure the front is lower than the rear.

Other than that, there isnt much you can do without more power. Just have to go slower.

Get a 42" cutter, like the Woods RCC42, & sell the 48" one?
