I think I would have went back with PVC piping for the well. My Dad had one put down 40+ years ago and it is still pumping from that 2" line. Even the pump point is homemade by the well guy. Just a 5 foot section of pipe that he took a hacksaw and sawed about 1/3 thru from each side alternating the holes. He then poured crushed stone down the drilled shaft to settle around the "pump point". It would fill a 150 gallon tank in 3 minutes which is all the capacity the well pump had.

Yes it was enlightening. If anyone had asked me, putting 120 volts direct to a 10 foot ground or even a 50 foot ground rod, would have popped a break, but looks like all it did even at 50 foot was warm up some earthworms.

Interesting never seen a comprehensive test like that with results and how/why/what was done.

I put that into my YOUTUBE channel for future ref... People at work were going crazy over kill on grounding wire size just Friday and I knew better than what they were doing but the new guy can't raise waves...
