No freedom of choice if my taxes are paying any part of the medical coverage!

OK I have not been really flamed in a while but this comment will probably do it. If you think there should not be freedom of choice on seat belts, or helmets since your tax dollars are paying for the medical coverage. The question I have is do you think women that are getting public assistance such as welfare should be involuntarily sterilized since your tax dollar is paying for her medical attention plus the health and welfare of her children ?

I agree totally. The seat belt thing only turns off the obnoxious dinger not he flashing light.

Not quite the same thing here. They need education, just like you lunkheads(meant in the nicest possible way ) that don't wear seat belts ned education. And it would be OK with me if they made laws that hits THEM in the pocket book for reckless horzontal activity.(trying to keep this clean...) THAT would be more along the lines of fining you for not wearing you seatbelt.... What happens to you in an accident DOES affect me... MY premiums, laws that are made... so on an so forth... put it on... yer better off... I know.... mine probably saved me Oct 9th 2002

don't forget about regulating smokers, people who drink too much, fatso's who eat too much red meat and french fries, soft drink manufacturers who turn people into diabetics........................................................................logic behind seat belt laws is inane...if just one life is spared blah blah blah blah. just another infringement on our freedoms. insurance companies and big brother telling you how to live
