You say it is a business address? Are you going through a provider or do you have an Exchange Server at your business?

I wouldn't advise using whitelisting/safe sender lists as you can potentially miss any messages from new clients not yet added to your list. I would advise blocklists over whitelists. Blocklist providers are what most ISP and mail service providers use. Spamhaus is one of the most common. Most of those "random" address that spam comes from, all comes from the same addresses. Implementing a blocklist or two for it to check against will eliminate most spam.

Alternatively, you could also implement something like an Untangle Firewall that will do spam blocking and other things like virus scanning and ad blocking at the gateway so it isn't even entering your network.

In the last 2 days my new settings have blocked about all of these spam messages from my inbox. I still get many from places I have dealt with in the past but that is ok. I feel like a real dummy for not checking my settings a long time ago.

TBN is always my first place to go to for advice on anything because its members are so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable in every field.
