I got it figured out...somehow I confused the two lines reconnecting to the scv and I just swapped them and all is fine now.Thx for the replies and happy holidays.

Any more detail??

Did you mix up one of the lift hoses with a curl (angle) hose??

I dont see how just swapping the two curl (angle) hoses would make a difference in function. Other than when you push the stick left and the plow goes right and vice versa. But still shouldnt cause the issue you describe.

BTW: The plow cylinders may be single acting as individuals, but paired up with the plow angle they become a double acting system using the mechanical linkage connection between them.

So, one line from the loader valve goes to one of the plow cylinders and the other line goes to the other plow cylinder. When one cylinder is energized, it pushes the other cylinder closed as the plow angles and vice versa.

Just for kicks, swap them back again and see if it works. I am thinking you didn't have one of the couplers seated properly.

whats a scv?

remember when hooking or unhooking hyd lines its engine off and cycle your loader handle a couple times in each direction to bleed off any residual pressure.
A little residual pressure pushing against a quick coupler can prevent it from seating properly.

whats a scv?

scv can be several things. Southern California Valve company….Sons of Confederate Veterans, etc, but in tractor/hydraulic parlance, it usually means selective control valve.

Swapped them back to how it was before..doing what it was doing yesterday it doesn't make sense to me.
