Need Hauler For Compact Tractor Mass to NYS

The parts of the Mass Pike I drove on a few years back reminded me of I-75 or I-85 going through Atlanta.
Or I-75 through Chattanooga, but with more lanes and more traffic.

I don't get futher east than 495. It can get your attention, but I've been on far crazier roads. I'll bet you couldn't get a tractor past the toll booth. If you did, well, you'd deserve everything you get.

Folks - Thanks for all your suggestions and the info about hauler rates. Asclan takes the prize, however. The rental place he found is only about 3 miles from my house. I never knew they rented trailers. Thought they just built them. I can borrow a friend's Jeep with a hitch and go up to Albany to retrieve the tractor from the seller's company. One $65 rental and the move is done.

I'll let you all know how it works out.

BTW, if I did't know you, I'd probably want at least $300 to do it, and thats if I was really bored. If I knew you, it would cost you nothing but fuel costs.

Dodge Man - Thanks for the good thoughts. The fact is, I would have paid $300, but no one on UShip came even close to that number. Guess there are no bored truckers in Mass. And you guys are right about the Mass Pike. It's one reason I wouldn't rent a trailer and go get it myself. I'm not experienced driving a trailer and the Pike is no place to learn.

I'll send pictures soon. I already have a couple from the seller and can't believe how new and shiny this machine looks. Can't wait to see it in person.
