Need Diesel engine, 1999 new holland TC33D

I just bought a 1999 new holland TC33D , 4x4 tractor engine model 58129. Just wandering if a Perkins diesel or will something else bolt on. The diesel engine in the tractor is cracked, can anyone help me ??? Thanks Bob A from, Stellarton,N.S. Canada

There are New Holland forums that may help you with your engine question. I'm a Deere guy, so I can't...but I would suggest you look for a used NH engine so everything fits with no modifications.
BTW, IIRC, the NH "Boomer" series tractors (your TC33 is a Boomer) were built by Shibura, so you might try looking for one of those too.

where or you located and no you can not bolt another style engine in the tractor with out a very lot of costly fab work

you can look in one of the New Holland dealerships and ask there. Valley Industries in Lawrencetown is one. I also know of Marine yard that buys little engines like shibaura, or some small mitsubishi etc and build generators with it. Not shure what is cracked on your engine, but maybe it is fixable?
