I need to do some fine drainage work, does anyone make a Bolton flat cutting bar/edge to replace the teeth on a 16" BX25d BH bucket? Thanks

Have you considered just removing the teeth and using the existing flat edge of the back hoe bucket?
In soft not to rocky soil you would probably not experience bucket damage.

The bucket probably has welded shanks that can’t be removed to leave a flat edge. The easiest thing would be to weld a bar on the bucket and cut it off when you’re done. Most buckets have the outside teeth angled out so you can’t remove the teeth with a bar welded on.

I just took off the teeth on my 24" bucket. The lip is 3/8" with a wedge profile, for grading it works fine.
