Sorry to hear you are out of a job this makes it a project that you cant do any worse by trying so... I am with California and I think I would cut it up and straighten it and re-weld it and rebuild the cyls they are very very easy to re-build. just saying

Somthing Stinks... Let someone else look at it and get back to us. No Pun intended but It sounds like you have sometime to get your hands Dirty Could be a easy fix and possible to Upgrade it with that Quote so it won't happen again. Me and California. seems to feel the same way.

Air in the lines won't blow out seals. Jamming the bucket in the ground will. Air compresses, hyd. fluid does not. You might try a auto/truck frame shop. Anything can be straightened; however with their labor, and rebuilding 2 cylinders, you could easily top your $1400.

Again another yanmar well above 10k, cardoc paid 14,500.

And not to long ago I was thrown under the bus for a thread complaining about these inflated prices and being told none of the yanmars are that expensive (above 10k, by dealers I might add) just saying.

sorry to hear about your job but I would just get the replacement and not use it like a dozer.

lol well i was going to put a brush pusher on the front of it like take the bucket off and put one of these on there http://www.rootgrapple.com/rake1.jpg so i can push up branches i cut down so i can burn them but if the loader isnt all that tough im starting to have 2nd thoughts whats yalls opinion

and to the guy about price's 13k was after i jew'd him down lol he was asking 14,500 13k was still high to be but better then paying 20k for a 30hp john deere down here you used to be able to find a good yanmar around here for 2k but not its 5-7k for a 17hp with loader

Yep i remember that one Smoody, but this is one of those giant exotic yanmars. its a 43 hp pto model!!

And mine is 45 hp engine and 38 PTO both these tractors are on the higher end.

Mine has a turbo 3 cyl diesel with a power-shift same tractor as a JD 1050 but the JD is gear like his 4300 fwtw.
