There should be a number stamped on the left side of the tube just in front of the transmission. There should also be an aluminum sticker plate on the left front of the sheet metal near the radiator. I don't think there are records for the serial numbers and year of manufacture. You can search the Mitsubishi/Satoh group here and read for days. These 370 tractors were made mostly in the 70s. At this age, the year it was made is not very important.

If cutter is 4' then either a 403 or 413. Look for the SN tag on the frame rail.

only thing i can make out on the sticker is s370.
if i am correct they were made from 1977 to 1980
do you know if parts were all the same in those years ???
it needs a little TLC and from web search might be hard to fine parts for it.
i did fine the air filter cap and baffle new form kubota there B4200 has the same air filter set up.
also thinking of putting a cat 1 quick hitch on it but not to sure on how to adapt it on the cat 0 set up,

According to tractordata.com you have a Satoh Beaver S370 made from 1977-1984 with a Mitsubishi engine.

Cajun, you're in the right place to find out about your tractor. Many members here have posted similar questions over the years. Two good vendors are Valley Power and Japanese Tractor Repair Dixon, IL. Do you know which way your pto shaft turns, cw or ccw? You can buy cat. 1 ends that are made to be welded on. Depending on your abilities or if you have some good friends that have welding skills you can change out cat 0 for cat 1. By the way, welcome.

thanks oliver for the welcome and the vendors, as for the rotation of the PTO i will have to check it. i didn't know there were different rotations i thought they all went the same way. for the cat 1 ends do i get straight are bent ones ???? or will either one of them work.
(Let me just say thanks to all that have replied)
reading the trends on here is really helping me as this is my first tractor i own and it needing a little TLC
but couldn't pass it up for the price $1000.00 with 4 attachments
again thanks

I think the 370 was ccw rotation which is not standard but there are some with reversers on them. How many splines do you have? I think you can use your existing arms and buy replacement swivel balls for Cat 1. They sell them at Tractor Supply. The swivel balls come with weldable sockets to weld on the arms.
