Just wondering if anyone else has a landscape rake they could recommend. Doing a yahoo search shows Howse, King Kutter, and some others. I can get a King Kutter at the local TSC for about $400. My Dad recently bought a KK bushhog and it seems to be a pretty good one.

Any brand and spec recommendations (i.e. tine size) would be appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Can you elaborate on what you plan on doing with the rake?

I have a tow-behind York rake that I like.

Assuming you are looking at a rake for the L3400, I would say you could easily pull an 84" rake. As for brands, I like the MidWest brand rakes, I use a Midwest LR22-72. The 22 series rakes have the added feature of tilting side to side, in addition to swivling like a traditional rake. They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I paid $410 for mine this spring and use it at my house. I use a Howse rake at my office to keep a field clean (catches and kills snakes too) but I can't say as I'd recommend the Howse, it is roughly the same price as the Midwest, and in my opinion, not made as well and lacks features. I looked at several other brands, some more expensive and some less so.

Overall Midwest makes EXCELLENT 3pt rakes, rear blades and box blades that are mid-priced, American made, and a great value compared to the other stuff I see.
