Ok...had to split a Ford 1210, to put the tie rod end, back on the hydrostat drive rod. I amazed myself, you see it was my DAD that was the mechanic, Not Me. ANYWAYS, got it all put back together (no spare parts),started it up and it worked. Well atleast it did after, I beat the steering wheel, cause it wouldn't move. Bent my head down to cry, when I noticed, Someone put the range selector into "neutral"......Wait did I just admit that? lol
Here is the problem now...the hydrostat creeps now. you can't stop and take your foot off the drive pedal with out it moving. I split it Again, this time between the engine and transmission, instead of the tranny and rearend like 1st time. So I could look down and see if the Throw out bearing was in the clutch yoke, so clutch pedal would disengage it. And it was, so clutch should work.....WHY IS IT NOT DISENGAGING THE HYDROSTAT, where did I screw up at???
Before Surgery, the tractor would sit there running, with OUT the brake on and not move. Where do I go from here? She runs good, you can control her with the drive pedal, put back pressure on pedal and she doesn't creep, but that is not the right way.
Help......
