My grandpas 130 got water in it over the winter! I took the cylinder head off and the number 3 cylinder intake valve was in the open position? The number two and three cylinder was full of coolant. The exhaust manifold was full of water and the oil breather also! When I drained the eng oil it was all coolant. Do any of you guys think it just the cylinder head or do you think it cracked the block also? Any input would be awesome! And where should I be looking for cracks at on the block? Thanks!

static coolant pressure test it with the pan off. Harbor freight has the kit for cheap.

Take the oil pan off? And put the cylinder head back on?

It may have just cracked a sleeve, and let the coolant into the oil pan.

That would be a C-123 engine. If the block cracked, you should notice a horizontal crack mid-way down the side, I'm thinking ususlly on the carb. side. Or, between the cylinder liners, on top of the block. If in doubt, you can always take it to a decent engine shop that can magnaflux the block, and check for cracks.

Being it had coolant in it, but water got in the exhaust, and on into the #3 cylinder, it's more than likely a cracked sleeve. If you polish ( steel wool or something similar, if not too bad) the inside of the #3 cylinder, look for a dark hairline streak, running verticle.
