My Dad has retired from farming, he is 88 years young, but he has all this equipment that is SITTING and doing NOTHING. I do not want this going to some scrap dealer as it should be easy to find a new home where it will be loved and cherished... even if it is just admired during plow day.
This was purchased new by my Dad. He did an upgrade of the moldboards to Yetter. He also had "arms" put on the back, to add a culivator / harrow to go behind the plowing.
He could pick this up and move it to a different field... He is still giving me Plow 101 lessons. Each day I learn something new. This only has one wheel in the back. It has a jack like arm on the front, to keep it out of the ground and tipping when parked. It has controls where you can set the depth.
It will reset and you just back up and go again.
Any help about model, price or a new owner... would be greatly appreciated. Dad got a gator this spring, what an amazing machine. Then he got a JD 4600 with a cab with heat and plans to plow snow this winter. He figures if he gets rid of his old toys, he can buy a back blade for his new toy.
Thanks,
