NAA Oil Leak

My NAA drips a small quantity of engine oil - just enough to be annoying. I made a new gasket for the oil plug, and that helped some. I plan to replace the oil pan gasket, which should be pretty easy. Here's the question: I am wondering if I can replace the real seal (two-piece rope type) without splitting the tractor and all that entails. Is it possible slip a new seal in without major disassembly?

On the same tractor, the right brake sticks if it sits for a while. When I start, I have to reverse to release it and even then it sometimes drags a few feet first.

get a sneaky pete tool for the crank seal.

for the brakes, disassemble and lube linkage and pivots and bushings.

Thanks - I had not heard of that tool before. Perfect.
On the brakes: I did disassemble/clean/lube them once, but that was a while ago and I don't recall how thorough I was. I'll do it again. I can't imagine there could be a weird bearing or rear-end problem with these syptoms, especially since it has been going on for years.

if it's not a binding shaft / bushing causing the brakes to drag, make sure they are not adjusted too tight, and make sure the springs are good and intact.
