Gentle readers; I have this mid-mount PTO attachment but do not know what tractor this fits. Most likely compact / utility tractor in the 20-30HP range. Dimensions are shaft 40.5" tip to tip. Hanger bracket is 14" wide. 15 spline. Any help is welcomed. Thanks!

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

I'll be following this thread as I can't figure out how it would attach to a mid-mount PTO... the thing that came to mind was it's a 'wheel PTO' extension to an older type, static/stationary baler or similar implement/machine.

Enjoy the site.

Looks like a shaft and front mount bracket to carry the mid-PTO forward for a front broom or snowblower possibly.

Thanks for the comments so far. I did drop into a local tractor dealer that has a very large repair department. The ancient mechs were not able to point me to a brand name. They did say its a mid-mount PTO for front-mounted attachments (snowblower, broom, mower, stump grinder etc.). They also told me the bit about 20-30HP maximum due to the guage of the metal and shaft.

OK, that makes sense...

I just did an image-search for 'mid mount pto' to see that the PTO faces forward, so I can now see how this would work.

I've learnt something. It's a good day.

Yes.. It is obviously a front tractor side mount to carry the pto.. Then the implement mount and lift system would attach to this bracket, with a short pto to the implement.

It does not appear to be anything that I have seen used on John Deere compacts. I have seen a number of mounts, but not all I'm sure.
Good luck.

Hi Aaron; the only number is a standard Neapco U-Joint part #. Nothing that leads me to the manufacturer of the rest of it. The stamped frame has no markings at all.

Looks like it would fit the front of my GC1700 series Massey, it is a clean almost universal looking mount for mid to front pto, if it fits it will work type deal with the exception being the length of the pto shaft.
I think I would need to flip it so the off set is on the left rather the right while sitting on the tractor but maybe it would not matter and like I said it looks universal.
