Found a small black rubber part, approx. 2" tall by 1.5" wide, on the trail that I drive my tractor on a lot. Figured it might be from my tractor, but darned I can figure it out. Thought I would post some pictures of it and see if anyone knows what it is and where it goes. What do you think it is? 20180401_150633.jpg20180401_150600.jpg20180401_150507.jpg

That was my first thought, but it's the wrong size and mine is intact. I think it must be some type of cap that allows moisture to drain if necessary. It is soft rubber and is flexible.

Looks like part for flush meter vacuum breaker  but that's plumbing.

Exactly what I was thinking. I have seen odder things.

When I saw the first response I thought it was nailed. But wrong size and the drain on your machine is intact so you have to keep looking. Is it bigger or smaller then the one on your air filter canister? Good luck but I think it's a safe assumption it's not from your tractor.

Far fetched but could it be a breather for either the front or rear differential?
or again possibly a hydraulic tank breather.

Yep, it's definitely a flush drain vacuum breaker. We had an F5 tornado in 2011 pass just north of our property and I am still finding small pieces of debris now and then. Guess this must be some more debris that finally was exposed enough to see. Appreciate the help.
