Kubota SVL95; Kubota L6060HST
Was out yesterday mowing with my new L6060, and new Land Pride FM2572 flail mower. Tractor and mower are awesome, and I've been using them both pretty hard. After mowing, wife found this cap lying on the ground. Any idea what this came from? Neither my mechanic at our Kubota dealership, nor Landpride have any idea. I didn't see anything obvious... didn't look really hard though because I figure some smart guy here will know right away. And, I was also mulching in the same area last year with a Kubota SVL-95, but I doubt it came from that. Thanks guys!

It's not a plug for one side of your front loader mount is it? My loader doesn't have plugs but the size looks about right.

Good question! Where is the mount? Sorry, never had a loader on a tractor...and I don't see it. Here's a pic. Tractor Side View.jpg.

That looks like a smaller version of the plug on my Landpride 4’ rotary cutter (bush hog).

Don't know about your Kubota, but my NH1920 has a rubber stopper like that on the rear of the center hydraulics casing, right behind the seat, that I pour the hydraulic fluid in.

Ok...I'll look there too. Thank you.

That does look like a plug for hole on the bell-housing. Usually used as an inspection hole for tractors with clutch. Probably not your case since yours is HST.

I would still check the bottom of the bell-housing. Manufacturers will put a hole there to also inspect the 4WD coupling in case the roll pin breaks or something.

Landpride finish mowers have caps similar to that on the holes covering the lube points for the deck or where the belt pulleys are. Might look around n the Landpride flail mower for a hole that such a plug fits.

Look on the land-pride rotary cutter deck directly behind the gear box. If a plug like the one you found is there, you have an extra. If a hole is there, see if the plug fits.
