Mysterious Ads - Takeovers, Etc

Hi Everybody,

It seems one of the companies that serves ads for us had an issue with their ad code and it started serving up ads that it wasn't suppose to be serving---like pop-ups, takeover ads, etc.

We have removed this ad code from all pages. Please let me know ASAP if you see ANY takeover ads or pop-ups (other than the TBN registration/login popup) on the site either by posting in this thread or submitting a support ticket. These ads should not be showing. If they are, it's an error, not because of anything we did intentionally.

We're hoping this has something to do with the javascript conflict (white space issue) we have been experiencing.

It happened to me when I clicked on the page 2 icon at the bottom of the page on another thread just about 15 minutes ago.

As soon as I clicked on today's active threads it popped up. There was a pla ce to skip the ad down bottom.

Yesterday I had an ad cover the whole page when trying to go to the front porch forum. But it didn't show up after trying to load it for the second time.

Haven't seen any of the ads since. Thanks for taking care of it Muhammad.

I'll let you know if any thing shows up again.

does this have anything to do with me now getting some kind of audio advertisement. I just this morning.. an hour ago actually, and now just suddenly hearing sound fromt he pc speaker.. a chili's add and perhaps soemthing else.. keeps repeating every now and then. since i'm on a moboile broadband connection.. it's killing my bandwidth??

can't figure out where it could be coming form???

I run Kaspersky antivirus ans well as something called NoScript.

The Kaspersky was throwing a warning about malware coming from this site a week or two back; that has now stopped.

Perhaps the problem is solved?

not solved for me.. my pc's going haywire now. mysterious adds poping up.. audio adds coming from the speakers. all started this am. basically only site i've had open other than my email client!
