Assuming the teeth are 2.5cm wide.... Calculates out exactly 25cm apart setting the 2 outside ones against the inside wall of your 2 meter (inside dimension) bucket.

Best way for you to space the teeth if you are going to do this yourself is to put teeth on each end of the bucket and one dead center. Then fill the resulting gaps with equally spaced teeth to make them all equadistant from each other. If you use exactly 25cm spacing, you may (or maybe not) find that a couple of teeth will be closer together than the others if the two end ones are not exactly in the right place.

Be sure to harden the SS to about 48/50Rc so they are hard, but not too brittle. If your boss has some H-13 tool steel lying around, that would be even better at a hardness of 46/48Rc. That's where it is toughest and most resistant to breaking.

My first posted picture is of a 72" toothbar with 7 teeth on it. That's just shy of you 2 meter bucket (78-3/4").
