Tractor
12' Kioti DK40SE HST
As many of you may know I just got my first tractor delivered the other day in a DK40HSTSE. I had mentioned in another thread that the tractor came with the rears in the wide position with R4's. I am not complaining because I have hilly land and I like the wide stance. But I bought a 72" tiller figuring on my tractor only being 63.9" as stated on Kioti's website. So now my rears at 74" wide. Once I attatch my tiller can I push the lower arms and tiller to one side or the other in order to get the tiller on the outside of one of the rear tires?

You should be able to get a few inches by adjusting the sway bars to one side. The 63.9 is probably for AG's which have a narrower wheel and tire.

you can bring those tires in by adjusting your wheels . Check your owners manual , but if they are loaded with fluid , make shure you have help ! and enjoy your new tractor .

adjusting your sway bars should let you take out one tire track

No off set option on the tiller. My tires are loaded so i really did not want to fool with it but I will think about it. Thanks.

There is no wheel width adjustment on wheels built for R-4's; the rims are welded to the wheel centers

yep was going to say the same thing, no adjustment on the wheels on my new Kioti or the Kubota I traded off. Both have solid wheels with R4's

Koua is right, pull the pins on the sway bar(the one's on their own catch chain), shove the tiller to one side and put the pins back in. That should cover a track with room to spare.

just be careful and not bind the shaft when you move to 1 side several tillers i have seen they don't have alot of room for the yoke to flex woods has a tiller that will adjust to either side
