Traction My Tractor Slips Going Down Hill While Mowing

It is good that you noticed the slipping before getting in a dangerous situation. :thumbsup: My dad went down a STEEP driveway on pavement towing a ski boat...with a garden tractor. One wheel started spinning backwards...fast....as he was speeding down hill. Somehow he kept it straight and didn't get hurt. If it would have jackknifed he might have been killed. That is when I learned about down hill slippage....when he sped past me.

I bet your eyes were big as saucers, and probably had your mouth open and wondering if he would be killed. And truth be told, he probably had a pretty good chance of that.
