I have had my 3510 for a couple years and have read post about overheating since day one. Never have had any overheating problems myself but the other night, I had to make about a 5 mile run to pick up an old wagon. I noticed it kept creeping up about 3/4 on the gauge which was warmer then normal. I knew my screen was finally clogging up. My cure was the ole leaf blower. I prefer it over washing out the radiator and clogging the fins with mud but either way would work. Just a thought because I have'nt seen anyone mention cleaning it with the leaf blower but it really works well.

I clean my with my air compressor. I found that the flexable tubes for a grease gun has the same threads as my air gun, so I cleaned out the tube and attached it to the air gun. Now I can bend and twist it around the fan and shroud to get the radiator really clean. It always amazes me how much dust gets into there!!!!

I use a Shop Vac. Pull the stuff out the same direction it went in.

Good ideas all around, I try to blow it from behind the motor also. No need in running it through the radiator. I did go from the front after getting all that I could from the backside first. I also hit the pre filter, blowing it out backwards also. There was quite abit more dust then I thought. You would want to be careful useing an air compressor here as some claim it tears the filter fiber up, eventually letting dust by.

I, too, always used my air-compressor. I just used a regular 2' blow gun; never thought about trying Eddie Walker's grease gun hose, but it sounds like a good idea to me. Of course, even with the little rubber tip on my 2' blow gun, I try to not touch the radiator fins and to blow straight from back to front so as to not let the air pressure bend any fins.
