I did that with the excavator boom. It didn't work out well, as the thumb hyd. lines took a hit. Now, my beautiful hand made lines look like they tangled with a barn and the barn won. Besides, that barn is tough. I don't wanna break the Lull.

I can not find where I posted my canopy light installation. It was back in 2008. So I figured to just to just put the update here. I put flood lights on front and spot lights on back. Flood lights for loader work and spot lights for backhoe work. I wired them into the existing plow light circuit. It is switched with the cowl lights.

I just upgraded them to LED. Now I am ready for low light operations, as the old non LED lights were just.....well,.....dull.

I haven't used the back lights yet, but the front lights are about 6 times brighter. They are really bright.

I finally got back to the deck roofing. Here is the ramp handrails and braces.

Saturday I started fitting and installing the taller top sills. I had to made it 3x6 and notch it to clear the screen door.

I had installed the center top sill and bracing last week.

Today, I measured and fitted the top sill over the bedroom door. It only had 1.25 left after the notch, so I added a 1.25 x 1/8th inch strap on the back side. I am using10 inch HeadLOK bolts to fasten the 3x6 top sill to the posts. I love the HeadLOKs.
